Conscious paths: back to the roots

When having it all isn't enough

Rosa and Jordi held senior positions at major companies. Rosa worked in the fashion industry, while Jordi built his career in the world of motorcycle racing.

Their jobs were demanding, but deeply rewarding: leading teams, earning generous salaries, travelling across the globe... To anyone looking in, they had built the perfect life.

Yet beneath the surface, this Catalan couple felt that something wasn't right. Their way of living no longer reflected the values they believed in.

"We had everything people dream of when they're at university... and we still weren't happy"

Rosa tells us about the beautiful home they shared in Galicia, where she worked as a fashion designer.

She genuinely loved her job, but she couldn't ignore the growing feeling that her work was no longer aligned with her beliefs. Time and again, she advocated for more responsible practices that respected both people and the planet throughout the production process, but her efforts never led to real change.

As time went on, she became increasingly haunted by the thought that nothing could ever make up for the damage she felt she was indirectly causing the planet.

When Rosa and Jordi decided they wanted to become parents, one question changed everything: where did they want to raise their child, and what values did they want to pass on?

They chose to start over and build a life around a project that truly inspired them—a place where they could put down roots. So they returned to Catalonia, the place they call home, to restore an old farmhouse nestled in the hills of Cabrils.

"We used to measure success by our careers. Now we measure it by having chickens and a vegetable garden"

Today, they devote themselves wholeheartedly to a project that brings them both purpose and joy: creating a self-sufficient farmhouse, complete with its own wells, solar panels and vegetable garden.

It's a slower, more grounded way of life—one that feels deeply connected to nature and truly aligned with who they are.

When returning to your roots makes everything fall into place

Leaving everything behind. Starting over. Returning to their roots.

For Rosa, Jordi, little Max and their ever-growing family of animal companions, everything has finally fallen into place.

Rosa, Jordi and Max wear pieces from the Raíces collection.

After reaching the top of their respective careers, Rosa and Jordi realised that something was missing. Despite their professional success, they weren't truly happy. So they left their executive roles behind, returned home, and embarked on an inspiring new chapter: creating a self-sufficient farmhouse where the way they live is deeply aligned with who they are.

Today, Rosa and Jordi are putting down roots with their young son, Max, at their farmhouse in Cabrils.

This is their story.
