The long Leila ruffle skirt is one of those special pieces you'll fall in love with. Crafted in a deliciously soft and warm organic cotton flannel with a subtle check weave, a design exclusive to Tiralahilacha and woven in a workshop in Terrassa. Crafted in our Tàrrega workshop, in Catalonia. Leila is a relaxed and wonderfully comfortable skirt thanks to its fabric that's so light and warm at the same time. It has elastic at the waist for extra comfort and functional side pockets. Its subtle check print makes it a very easy piece to wear and pair with tops like the Lorianne for a delicate and feminine look, or with the basics you already have in your conscious wardrobe. Olive green melange conveys a connection with the earth, giving the piece a natural and authentic touch.

Organic cotton is a more sustainable solution. It is grown without pesticides from seeds that have not been genetically modified.
Organic farming practices avoid using harmful chemicals while aiming for environmental sustainability and the use of fewer resources. Chemical-free agricultural land even stays fertile much longer than land hampered by the constant use of pesticides, so organic cotton farmers generally have a longer cotton commodity lifespan than otherwise.
The benefits are clear: using fewer pesticides means that workers’ health improves dramatically, communities can live in relative health with access to clean water and food supplies, and the land has a longer lifespan because chemicals are not damaging it. It also means the clothes we wear are safer for us since they don’t contain the myriad of chemicals often found in conventional cotton garments.
We pay attention to the smallest details, which is why all our garments follow rigorous standards that control both the chemical and ecological composition of the dyes as well as the recycling and purification of up to 80% of the water used during the process. Always certified by GOTS or Oeko-Tex.
We always recommend checking the composition and care labels of the item, especially for Wool or Tencel garments. In general wash in cold water, at a maximum of 30°C. Use neutral, eco-friendly detergent for machine washing (use the special wool wash program) or hand wash. This way, you will prevent color loss and water pollution. Iron at medium temperature. It is recommended to iron inside out and in the shade to preserve colors for longer. In the case of wool garments, it is recommended to iron them inside out with a towel on top to protect the garment. Dry flat, never hanging, to prevent stretching and deformation..
